LEG 1 OVERALL WINNER BANJO NORTE AIMS FOR A REPEAT

Dalaguete, Cebu - As the 2nd leg of the Cebu Loves Tri Team Championships comes closer, this writer had an opportunity to get the thoughts of Leg 1 overall winner Banjo Norte from CDO of Team Alaska TBB. When asked on his current fitness level, Banjo was bold enough to say that he is currently in good shape, adding that "inaalagaan ko yung conditioning ko para malayo sa mga sakit."
As this race would be his first for this year and as defending overall winner for the series, Banjo shared that he is a bit pressured for the 2nd leg as there are lots more quality racers joining.
Finally, when this writer asked Banjo straight up if he could defend his title here, he quipped that " hindi ko po alam, depende po kasi yan sa conditioning pero gagawin ko ang best ko para ma defend ang title ko."
Let's surely watch out for this young triathlete to scorch the race course on Febraury 3, 2013 at Dalaguete Cebu for the 2nd Leg of the Cebu Loves Tri Team Championships!
